Chapter 1928 11927 2 Brothel
Chapter 1928 11927 2 Brothel
Chapter 1928 1.1927 Twelve Flower Pavilions
With a resounding success, Huitian Pavilion's reputation soared. Having acquired two top courtesans, its private rooms expanded several times over, occupying a corner of the brothel, making it quite impressive.
Some may ask, the Emei Sect was originally a prestigious and righteous sect, known as the leader of the martial arts world and ranking first among the eight major sects. Furthermore, in the original storyline, it was known as one of the "Eight Great Sects, One Ghost and Half Monster," alongside top martial arts masters. How did it fall to such a state?
However, the sect leader, Abbess Jingyin, seeking the supreme position in the martial arts world, practiced an unorthodox cultivation technique with Gu Banguai, one of the ten greatest masters. Legend has it that this celestial book is the unparalleled masterpiece of the evil sect leader. It is rich in content, illustrated, and includes cultivation secrets. It is said that the unorthodox dual cultivation technique consists of four lessons: Lesson One, a lone man and woman; Lesson Two, Yin and Yang Harmony; Lesson Three, Heaven and Earth Union; Lesson Four, Heaven and Earth Intercourse.
After mastering the technique, one can seal all acupoints, gaining protection from gold and silver, becoming invulnerable to swords and spears, and learning the ultimate skills "Flame Melting Bones" and "Extinction of the Entire Family." However, every gain has its loss. Because it is "illustrated and textual," it is clear at a glance, helping cultivation achieve twice the result with half the effort. But also because it is "illustrated and textual," like an erotic picture book, it is like dry tinder and raging fire; a slight mistake during dual cultivation can lead to demonic possession.
Before entering the painted wall, Gu Banguai, who had been practicing a heretical technique with Abbess Jingyin, the leader of the Emei Sect, was severely injured and died. Seeing that she was on the verge of going mad, Abbess Jingyin had no choice but to lead her disciples into the painted wall to save their lives. They eventually found refuge in Beitun Fort. Beitun Fort was a brothel, and in order to find "three meals a day, a place to sleep, and a roof over their heads," the Emei Sect had no choice but to adapt to local customs and become one of the brothels.
It is said that since the Tang Dynasty, most female nuns and Taoist priestesses enjoyed entertaining guests and were fond of elaborate makeup. The *Tang Yulin* records: "(The Emperor) made a secret visit to the Zhide Temple, where a female Taoist priestess was dressed in elaborate makeup. Enraged, he returned to the palace and immediately summoned Song Shukang, the Left Street Merit Commissioner, ordering them all to be expelled and replaced with two men to manage the temple." The *Qingyilu* also records: "Lianzi, a nun at the Fengyang Temple in Fanyang, was not yet twenty years old, but was strikingly beautiful and well-connected. She created new eyebrows, unlike those of the time. People thought she was a Buddhist disciple and called them 'Shallow Manjushri Eyebrows'."
Therefore, Bai Juyi of the Tang Dynasty wrote in his poem "The Little Taoist Priestess Arong Under the Abbot of Zhang Temple": "A graceful little fairy, born sixteen years ago. Half a peak of Gushan is covered in snow, a lotus in the Yao River. Flowers linger in the evening courtyard, the moon accompanies her as she sleeps by the spring window. Though she turns her head as if to speak, her mother is beside her." In the Song Dynasty, there was a female Taoist priestess named Chang, who was beautiful. Qin Shaoyou (Qin Guan) tried to woo her but she refused. He wrote a poem "To the Female Taoist Priestess Chang": "Her pupils are like clear water, her waist is like a sash, a black gauze dress covers her like cold jade. She has the graceful posture of a fairy, looking back, all other beauties are just dust. No one can see into the misty pavilion and cloud-covered window, carriages and horses go east and west at will before the gate. After the ceremony, the spring day is quiet at the altar, fallen petals cover the ground, and crows cry."
Even figures like Bai Juyi and Qin Guan were not immune to such temptations. A glimpse reveals the whole picture. Imagine, the dignified head of the Emei Sect personally appearing on stage, with "light Manjushri eyebrows," "dressed in elaborate attire and heavy makeup," "exquisitely beautiful and charming, quite the ladies' man." This would surely attract countless lecherous men in the art world, who would spend lavishly just to have a glimpse of her beauty.
The three beauties of Emei, possessing the "Jade Maiden Sword Technique," are renowned for their allure. Furthermore, the eldest sister, Li Lumei (Chen Sijia), has mastered the "Emei Divine Skill" and serves as the head of the sect, replacing the reclusive Abbess Jingyin, who is cultivating the "Sacred Fire Scripture." She has also recruited other top-tier beauties in the martial arts world, including the young hero of the Western Peak, Golden Snake Boy (Wen Xueer), and Du Juan'er (Weng Jingjing), daughter of "Snake King Du," who gained incredible internal strength by absorbing the blood of the Red Serpent and mastered the "One Finger Supporting the Sky" technique. Emei Sect has risen to become one of the twelve most prestigious brothels in the North Fortress, its influence growing daily.
As is widely known, Article 101 of the Emei Sect's rules states: All disciples of this sect must remain pure and innocent, maintain their virginity, and are forbidden from having male friends. Those who are shameless and disgrace the sect will be punished according to the rules, ranging from disfigurement to death.
There are also justifications. "One is not allowed to make friends with the opposite sex," but one can make male guests. As long as one doesn't marry, one can "maintain a girlish status." As long as one talks about money and not love, one "will definitely remain innocent." As for "shamelessness and disgracing the family," as long as the sect leader decides according to the circumstances, everything will be fine.
In short, everything depends on human effort.
After careful consideration, there are no problems at all.
"Thank you, sisters." Master Jingyin, the head of the Emei Sect, who had narrowly escaped death and greatly increased her power, rose to greet them after completing her cultivation.
"Silence, no need to be polite." Right Protector Xiahou Ying returned the Yin-Yang Sacred Flame Token to its rightful owner: "I noticed that each of the Sacred Flame Tokens has a hollowed-out design. I wonder if there were Yin-Yang Pearls embedded in them before?"
"To be honest, Yingmei, that's exactly right." Since they addressed each other as sisters, and Master Jingyin was the oldest, she continued, "Each Yin-Yang Sacred Fire Token previously had a token bead embedded in it. Using the 'Sacred Fire True Scripture,' one could force the Yin-Yang token beads to fly out and take a life. Alternatively, one could force the token beads to self-destruct, perishing together with the enemy." "I see." The implication was that the self-destruction of the beads was equivalent to a life-saving technique. Before the Human-Painted Wall, Master Jingyin, the head of the Emei Sect, had already used it, which was why two openwork areas remained.
Since it's a life-saving technique, one only needs to invoke the incantation from the "Sacred Fire Scripture" to refill the Yin-Yang Pearl. It's a pity that most of the Nine Heavens Spiritual Fire in Dugu Sword Furnace was refined into the Formless Golden Elixir. Otherwise, if half were separated, the Yin-Yang Pearl could be reassembled, or even further refined into the Five Elements Inner Elixir.
As for the Yin-Yang Sacred Flame Token, which can only be forged by boys and girls aged 18, it will immediately break through the upper limit of martial arts under the blessing of the Five Elements Inner Elixir.
Because "Yin and Yang and the Five Elements are mutually restraining and mutually generating."
In the Five Elements, metal, wood, water, fire, and earth each have yin and yang attributes.
Metal is divided into Yang Metal and Yin Metal: Yang Metal usually represents hard, bright metallic properties, while Yin Metal represents soft, hidden metallic properties; Wood is divided into Yang Wood and Yin Wood: Yang Wood symbolizes vigorous, upright trees, while Yin Wood represents slow-growing, flexible trees; Water is divided into Yang Water and Yin Water: Yang Water usually refers to flowing, energetic water, such as rivers, while Yin Water refers to still, deep water, such as lakes; Fire is divided into Yang Fire and Yin Fire: Yang Fire represents intense, bright flames, while Yin Fire refers to weak, dim firelight; Earth is divided into Yang Earth and Yin Earth: Yang Earth usually refers to dry, hard soil, such as mountains, while Yin Earth refers to moist, fertile soil, such as plains.
Yang metal represents hardness and sharpness, while Yin metal represents gentleness and preciousness; Yang wood grows vigorously, while Yin wood is soft and delicate; Yang water flows and surges, while Yin water is still and restrained; Yang fire is intense and vigorous, while Yin fire is gentle and enduring; Yang earth is hard and heavy, while Yin earth is soft and fertile.
Therefore, Yin and Yang can be transformed through the Five Elements.
Wood's growth characteristic is yang, but excessive growth can transform into yin, such as when wood burns to ashes; Fire's heat characteristic is yang, but excessive heat can cause combustion, thus yang gives rise to yin; Earth's nurturing characteristic is yin, but excessive condensation into rocks transforms yin into yang; Metal's contraction characteristic is yin, but smelting it generates heat, thus yin into yang; Water's cold characteristic is yin, but freezing it releases heat, thus yin into yang; and so on.
The saying "things will turn around when they reach their extreme" is a form of mutual generation of the five elements and transformation of yin and yang.
Simply put, as long as each of the five elements is embedded with an inner core, the Yin-Yang Sacred Flame Token will no longer be limited to 18-year-old boys and girls; even the Emei Sect Leader, Abbess Jingyin, can master it.
If they then cultivate together with Wu Chen to a high level, they can achieve "Yin and Yang in harmony, a trinity".
These are all things to be discussed later, so let's not go into them.
