"Hurry up and get in the sedan chair. It's about to rain, so let's go back first."

Lin Rusi watched her retreating figure, a slight smile playing on her lips, thinking that she deserved it.

Lin Rusi did not return directly to the Star-Picking Pavilion, but instead followed along.
As soon as he closed the study door, Lin Le slammed his hand on the table with a loud bang.
Lin Ruqin stood frozen in place like a stick, head down, not daring to breathe.
"Daddy..."
Lin Le sat upright in the chair, his sharp and weathered eyes glaring angrily at Lin Ruqin.

"What man? And what thugs on the street? What's going on?!"

Are you threatening me?
A cold smile appeared on Lin Rusi's icy face. "Why would I threaten you?"
"Lin Ruqin, I'm just reminding you not to have designs on people you shouldn't."
She stared intently into Lin Rusi's eyes, her voice as cold as ice.
"Let's settle our own grievances between ourselves, and don't involve my mother."
"If you lay a hand on Si Yu again, I, Lin Ruqin, won't be so lenient with you!"
Lin Ruqin glared at Lin Rusi, gritting her teeth as she said, "Now you know how to feel sorry for her?"
"When I was being bullied by you and your daughter, why didn't you ever ask yourselves a question?"

Lin Ruqin chuckled as if she had heard a joke.

Lin Ruqin glared fiercely at Lin Rusi again, snorted coldly, and turned to leave.
Watching her retreating figure, Lin Rusi clenched her fists, feeling frustrated.
She desperately wanted to change Lin Ruqin.
Even just a tiny change?
