"Stop looking down on me." Chu Xinglan retorted, "I feel like I've made great progress these past few days."
"Is that so?" Gu Ye smiled calculatingly. "Then try beating me and see."
"Defeat you? Don't be ridiculous. You're the kind of person who can take on five or six people in one go. How could I possibly defeat you?" Chu Xinglan was aware of this.
"How about you win if you can touch my clothes?" Gu Ye said with a smile.
"Just touching the clothes is enough?" Chu Xinglan was quite confident about this.
Gu Ye nodded.
"But we can't just compete for nothing; there has to be a prize," Gu Ye stated his purpose.
"A prize? What kind of prize?" Chu Xinglan asked curiously.
"You won, I'll let you go out," Gu Ye said with a smile.
Chu Xinglan's expression instantly fell.
"So, you mean if I lose, I'm not leaving today?"
Sure enough, he had overheard her conversation with Xiao Ze. That cunning man deliberately used this method to make her stand him up.
"Smart!" Gu Ye smiled and gently flicked her forehead with his finger.
"Can we switch to a different bargaining chip?" Chu Xinglan asked in a low voice.
"Don't you have any confidence in yourself?" Gu Ye used reverse psychology.
As expected, Chu Xinglan was provoked.
"Who says I lack confidence? Let's compete."
As Chu Xinglan spoke, she clenched her fists and was about to rush towards Gu Ye.
Gu Ye nimbly dodged, avoiding Chu Xinglan.

"You brat, you're so happy to be dating another man while you're away from me." Gu Ye smiled wryly.
Chu Xinglan admired her own beauty in the mirror. Her skin was as smooth as jade, so delicate it seemed it could be broken with a flick of the finger. Paired with a snow-white off-the-shoulder dress, she looked absolutely stunning.
"These clothes don't suit you, change them." Gu Ye walked over.
"Really?" Chu Xinglan looked at herself in the mirror, still somewhat doubtful.
"Okay." Gu Ye nodded gently.
Chu Xinglan trusted Gu Ye's judgment; every outfit he bought for her suited her perfectly. If he said it didn't suit her, then it must not.
Chu Xinglan trusted the professional's judgment, so she ran back to the wardrobe and took out several outfits.
"What about this one?"
Gu Ye shook his head.
"And this one?"
Gu Ye shook his head again.
Chu Xinglan looked at Gu Ye with a suspicious expression, and then picked up another item and asked, "Is this one alright?"

"You're all dressed up so beautifully, going on dates with other men. Aren't you afraid I'll get jealous?"
Gu Ye grabbed her hand and pulled Chu Xinglan into his arms, his expression turning serious.
"I wasn't on a date, don't talk nonsense." Chu Xinglan felt guilty, but then she quickly realized that she really wasn't on a date.
"My senior wanted me to be his girlfriend for three days," Chu Xinglan quickly explained.
"You seem quite interested in your senior. He asked you to be his girlfriend for three days and you did. If he wanted you to be his wife, would you agree to that too?" Gu Ye's fingertips slid from her forehead to her chin, and he suddenly pinched the tip of her chin.
He didn't look very happy.
"Of course not." Chu Xinglan answered without thinking. "I asked him for help, so now I'm helping him back, otherwise I'd feel bad."

"Alright then, I won't make things difficult for you. Go quickly and come back soon." Gu Ye let go of her hand.

At the school entrance, Xiao Ze stood with his hands in his pockets, patiently waiting for Chu Xinglan.
